ENGINEERING

Motion sensors control lighting and electrical systems throughout guestrooms.
A functional greywater system recovers water for toilet flushing.
Water reuse reduces the need for fresh water for this purpose.
Electricity and water consumption are monitored to identify opportunities for improvement.

01 – PLAN, MEASURE, IMPROVE
Meaningful progress begins with understanding our impact. We monitor electricity, water, LPG, diesel and waste to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce consumption. In addition, frequent sustainability training is provided to all our employees.

02 – SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
At least 20% of our suppliers provide locally produced goods. We also work with organizations including Appoġġ, Qawra Parish Church, Puttinu Cares Foundation, Lino Spiteri Foundation and St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta.

03 – CELEBRATING MALTA
From our weekly Maltese buffet to locally produced food and drinks, we encourage guests to discover the flavors and traditions of the Maltese Islands. Through our cooperation with Nature Trust Malta, we also help promote respect for Malta’s natural heritage.

04 – REDUCING OUR FOOTPRINT
From water reuse and smarter energy systems to reducing disposable products and packaging, every department contributes practical action towards a more responsible operation.
